2/26/09: Added asterisks to note skills
that can only be used in battle. Added @needtomaster, @1v1s, and the
remotes for joining.
9/4/06: Blah blah updated for new
system.
INTRODUCTION
I've installed
some remotes in my IRC client. A remote recognizes text and responds
appropriately.
As a result, there are now a number of commands you can use to check
your
EXP and skills, a battle situation, a certain job class, or whatnot.
Here is the
FULL
list of commands and what they do. Just two notes, first...
1: I must be in the
channel
for the remotes to work.
2: An asterisk (*) next
to "What it does" means the command will only work during battles.
THE COMMANDS
@help
What it does: Generates
a link to this document.
@kode
@ktrkode
What it does: Generates
a link to the Kode.
@chips
What it does: Generates
a link to the list
of Navi battle chips.
@faq
What it does: Generates
a link to the FAQ.
@join (Text)
What it does*: Usable only while entries are open, adds you to
the battle with the specified job class. As usual, no spaces. Once
you've joined, you can't join again, so if you change your mind about
what job to use, you'll need to ask the ref to change you manually.
@secondary (Text)
What it does*: Usable only while entries are open, use this to
set your secondary. Spaces are okay here, in fact you can put in just
about whatever you want text-wise. Just make sure the ref can figure
out what exactly your secondary is.
@reaction (Text)
@support (Text)
@aux (Text)
What
it does*: Usable only
while entries are open. These work like @secondary, except you use them
to set your reaction or support skill. It does not matter which command
you use, as they both work identically, and once again, spaces are okay.
@status (Name)
What it does*: Shows
the battle status of the person. (HP, MP, Adrenaline Gauge, CT, job
class and abilities,
items held, and status effects are shown.) If the person's name has a
space
in it, use an underscore.
@shorts
What it does*: Shows
the battle status of all combatants, in shorthand. (HP, MP, Adrenaline
Gauge, CT, and status effects are shown.)
@arenafloor
What it does*: Shows
what items are on the arena floor.
@crit
What it does*: Tells
if the critical rule is on or off.
@haz
What it does*: Shows
the status of the hazard bar, including its maximum and current values,
and how much it incresses by.
@hzlist
What it does: Shows
a list of all the hazard sets. May be useful for Hazardeers
and the like.
@jobclass (Text)
What it does: Gives
the lowdown on the specified job class. (Do not use spaces or
underscores;
for info on Red
Mage, you would type "@jobclass redmage".) Playable job
classes
are available, but so are certain non-playable job classes (for
instance,
bosses who are added via hazard).
@jobs
What it does: Generates
the list of playable job classes.
@exp
What it does: Shows
your current EXP values and levels in all playable job classes. Note
that you must be on your primary
battling nick, or it will tell you you have 0 EXP.
@skills (Text)
What it does: Shows what skills
you have in the specified job class. This determines what you can use
if you pick the specified job class as your secondary. Remember to
remove all spaces; to check your Black Magic, you'd type "@skills
blackmage".
@needtomaster (Text)
What it does: Shows what skills
you DON'T have in the specified job class. Again, remove all spaces
("@needtomaster Hammerbrother"). You can then see what skills you still
need to buy to master a given job class. This command also shows you
the total EXP value of your current skills and EXP, so you can see how
close to mastery you are.
@blue
What it does: Shows
your current blue
magic list. Note that you must be on your primary battling nick, or
it will tell you you have no blue magic.
@desc (Text)
What it does: Shows the
description of the specified skill, including effects, costs, flags
(!Mag, !Rf, etc.), who can use it, and how much EXP it costs (if
applicable). Unlike most commands, you do NOT need to remove spaces
here; to see the effects of, say, Blood Lust, you'd type "@desc Blood
Lust".
@skillset (Text)
What it does: Shows the
complete (mastered) skillset for the specified job class. Again,
remember to take out any spaces. To see a list of all Time Magic, you'd
type "@skillset timemage". This is useful for checking your primary
skillset, or even a boss's ability list.
@chip (Text)
What it does: Shows the info
for the specified chip. Remember to get rid of all spaces. To check the
effects of Super Vulcan, you'd use "@chip Supervulcan". Alternatively,
you could use @chips to see the full list,
and search for the chip you want there.
@darkchip (Text)
What it does: Same as @chip,
but for Dark Chips.
@buylevel (Text)
What it does: Buys one level in the specified job class, if
you have the EXP for it. (Do not use spaces or
underscores for the class name; to buy a level in Red
Mage, you would type "@buylevel redmage".)
@buyskill (Text1) (Text2)
What it does: Buys the selected skill (Text2) in the specified job
class (Text1), if you have the EXP for it. (Use spaces where
appropriate in the skill name, but not the class name; to buy Mana
Boost in Wild
Mage, you would type "@buyskill wildmage Mana Boost".) The command
has a few glitches, so if you're having trouble buying a skill, ask the
ref.
